ubitricity baut Ladeinfrastruktur in Hennigsdorf flächendeckend aus

Mit der Installation von 40 Ladepunkten ermöglicht das Berliner Unternehmen den Zugang zur E-Mobilität im brandenburgischen Hennigsdorf.

ubitricity, Hersteller und Betreiber von Ladelösungen für Elektrofahrzeuge und hundertprozentige Tochtergesellschaft der Shell Gruppe, hat eine öffentliche Ausschreibung für 40 Ladepunkte im Hennigsdorfer Stadtgebiet gewonnen. Hierbei setzt das Berliner Unternehmen 20 AC-Ladesäulen ein. Fahrer*innen stehen an den Ladesäulen bis zu 22kW Ladeleistung pro Ladepunkt zur Verfügung.

Der Ausbau der Ladeinfrastruktur im nordwestlich von Berlin gelegenen Hennigsdorf beginnt bereits im dritten Quartal 2022. ubitricity folgt bei der Standortwahl den in der Ausschreibung festgelegten Angaben. Auf dem Gelände des Gewerbe- und Biotech-Zentrums „KreativWerk“ entstehen zwei Ladesäulen (mit je zwei Ladepunkten), weitere neun Ladesäulen folgen bis Ende des Jahres im weiteren Stadtgebiet. Die verbleibenden Installationen finden im ersten Halbjahr 2023 statt. Die neuen Ladestationen werden von der Shell Energy Retail GmbH ausschließlich mit Strom aus erneuerbaren Energien beliefert.

Die Bewohner*innen Hennigsdorfs haben an den Ladepunkten von ubitricity die Möglichkeit, mit ihren gewohnten Tarifen ihres Mobility Service Providers (MSP), beispielsweise Shell Recharge, oder per Ad-hoc-Zugang mittels eines QR-Codes zu laden. Letzteres funktioniert dabei einfach und direkt ohne Anmeldung oder laufender Mitgliedschaft. Aufgrund der volatilen Energiekostenentwicklung hat sich ubitricity im Sinne der Fahrer*innen verpflichtet, den Preis für das Ad-hoc-Laden für drei Jahre zu fixieren. Für beide Autorisierungsvarianten ist lediglich ein Standard-Ladekabel mit Typ 2 Stecker erforderlich.

Als Ladepunktbetreiber (Charge Point Operator, CPO) begleitet ubitricity die Stadt Hennigsdorf von der Planung über die Installation bis hin zum Betrieb der Ladesäulen. Hierbei wurde zunächst eine zehnjährige Laufzeit vereinbart.  Bislang ist das Unternehmen vor allem dafür bekannt, bestehende Laternenmasten in urbanen Anwohnergebieten in Ladestationen umzuwandeln. In Berlin hat ubitricity im März 2022 eine Ausschreibung für mindestens 200 Laternenladepunkte gewonnen. Dank der Nutzung von Synergieeffekten innerhalb der Shell Gruppe plant ubitricity, neben Laternenladepunkten, in Zukunft weitere Projekte mit freistehenden AC- und auch DC-Ladestationen umzusetzen. ubitricity schafft so ein Komplettangebot für öffentliche Ladeinfrastruktur, das in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Städten in Deutschland und ganz Europa ausgerollt werden kann.
