Green electricity for your EV - anywhere you need it

To make EVs an attractive choice,  urban EV drivers should be able to charge their car at work, at a car park, while shopping, while parked on the street – virtually anywhere there’s a low-voltage electrical network. Our customers decide, where they want to recharge their car. Of course, they will also be also able to use other charging systems, giving them full flexibility.

ubitricity offers simple metering and billing solutions for electricity charged on the road. You get one bill that covers all the charging points you used and all the electricity you filled up with (and, later, you will be credited for the power you give back to the system).

The bill is in the mail

Mobile Metering customers will be charged a basic rate, similar to the existing pricing model for household electricity, that varies according to the average amount of electricity the customer uses, similar to the basic rates mobile telephone customers pay. In addition, customers pay for energy they consume on the road, with the price varying according to the base rate. Users who don’t charge a lot on the road will pay a low basic rate with a higher rate per kilowatt-hour, while users frequenting en route charging points more often will pay a low per-kilowatt-hour fee and a higher basic rate.

Smart cars – smart price

In the future, ubitricity will offer a pricing structure that offers reductions for customers who participate in coordinated charging. This would result in much cheaper electricity when charging is done during periods of peak renewable energy generation. Such charging would also be a guarantee that ubitricity customers are only receiving renewably generated power, at a low price. That’s what charging up easily and everywhere should be all about.
