Knut Hechtfischer holds university degrees in both law and economics (MA equivalent) and worked as a legal counsellor in international law firms based in London, Frankfurt and Berlin, servicing national and international clients in the fields of regulation/privatization, acquisition and finance. His fascination for renewable energies soon informed his work as a legal counsellor and beyond. In 2007, Knut developed the idea and the underlying technical and economic concepts of ubitricity and founded the company together with his colleague and friend Dr. Frank Pawlitschek in 2008.
Frank Pawlitschek (PhD), LL.M., gained experience as a software developer in Silicon Valley. After finishing his legal studies he was counsel at leading international and domestic law firms, servicing large- and medium-sized corporations in the high-tech field. Frank studied and worked in Germany, the USA and New Zealand. Since 2011, Frank is also advisor to Forum Elektromobilität (www.forum-elektromobilitaet.de), a German E-Mobility network platform.
